Hello guys- I have a 99C2 with a 6 speed manual trans. I want to replace my transmission fluid, but before I start the job I would like to have an extra drain plug, filler plug and seals as a back up. I looked in the 996 part #'s catalog but did not have any luck. I also called Sunset Imports and they also were not able to find a part number for these plugs and seals. Does any body know the part numbers? Thanks

I dont see any reason to have a spare on hand... its a simple job and my 10 y/o son did mine for me...just clean the plugs and seats well before re-install and tighten to the recommended torque...

Did you ever happen to find the seals/plugs?

Porsche does not sell the plugs separately - so I doubt any (if any fail).

There is no sealing ring on either.

You will need to have a look first - we have seen both hex and triple-square.
