Hello there,

Thanks for this great forum :)

I wonder which is the best brake ducts for GT3? I've seen on the PET that there are two models :

For example in Right for a 2004 :

996.341.118.91 GT3

996.341.118.92 GT3 RS

Which is de difference between these?

Is de model for the cup is longer/better? Is anyone has the number OEM?

Thanks guys.

Can't respond to the p/n question, but the RS or Motorsport duct is deeper to catch more air, therefore, better cooling. It also scrapes a bit on some irregularities such as curbing. For street driving, I'd assume not much different. For tracking, better cooling as I noted.

Thanks guys for help.

About the first link, finally, the 997 GT3 ducts brake are better than stock model but are there better than stock 996 GT3?

Model from 997 doesn't make problem of scraping in bad roads...

Following second link, my GT3 is a clubsport, so have I already the Cup/RS model?

I've made some pictures about mine to see which I have. I post these tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I've looked at the picture and the part is 91 at the end....

So, are you sure than RS is the same as CUP?

Thanks.

Great !

Is model RS/CS exactly the same as the CUP?

According to my 2003 Cup Service Manual the Cup cars use: 996.341.117.90 and 996.341.118.90

I know the Cup car ducts are large and most can not use them on the street (for very long before they get torn off).

When I see on the PET, the references you've given are for a GT3 MkI from 2002....

+1 for the 997 GT3 ducts. This is what most of us have gone to on 986/996 track cars :)

B

I don't understand very well...

You will say that people who has an normal 996/986 uses 7GT3 ducts because there is with these minder scratching than 6GT3 or GT3CUP ducts?

More, Thr price for 997 GT3 are cheaper as only 30 $.

Yes - use the 997 GT3 ducts.
