Hi guys.

I have a 99 MY 996 C4 cab and have been having recent problems with the 2 small rear windows. :(

I haven't used the car a lot over the past 6 months, although recently i have started using it again, and now have problems with the rear windows, in that they will go down, but will not easily come back up when i press the switches. I have pressed the rocker switches back and forth a few times as they seemed a little stuck, in the hope this would loosen them and sort the problem.

However this hasn't worked. The only way they seem to come back up now is if i push the switch to wind them down and then very quickly press the other side of the switch to wind them back up without taking my finger off it. If i take my finger off the switch and then press it to wind them back up then nothing happens. :help:

There's clearly a connection problem within both switches, and i'm wondering if its a corrsosion problem or something, as the car has been suffering with water ingress and therefore a large build up of condensation in the car!!! This is another issue i need to sort and am assuming it is the drain holes/tubes???

I assume i can sort this if i can dismantle the switches and clean up the connections but am unsure how to do this.

Any help would be hugely appreciated as i am loving driving the car again but this is really annoying.

Thanks in advance and hope you can help.....
