Hey Loren,

Wondering if you can shed some light on why my TT delays starting. I turn the key and nothing happens, clutch depressed etc. Let my foot of the pedal turn the key back and then repeat starting procedure. Can do this three or four times before the car actually starts. Sometimes If i hold the key long enough in the start position it may start. Aside from being really annoying there seems to be a definite problem here.

Already replaced ignition switch with a complete steering lock assembly and replaced the starter. I thought that would take care of it but it didn't seem to. Any ideas?

Did you check the clutch interlock switch?

Loren,

I just checked out this post and it seems like your might be on to something.

Just wondering is their an easy way to bypass the switch for testing purposes?

Yes, just jumper the two wire from the switch (essentially bypassing the switch).

Realize that this will let you start the car without engaging the clutch - so make sure you are in neutral.
