Hello all,

I have a 2000 Tiptronic convertable with 71k on it and last night while sitting in traffic check engine light popped on and I got two codes.p0442 EVAP emission control leak (Small)

also P0740 TCC Circuit Malfunction. I cant seem to find the second one. I erased the codes and it hasnt come back. Does anyone know what they mean in simple terms. I just bought this car a few months ago and I havent had any problems with it. I had just filled it up and driven about 100 miles on it and then it sat for 24 hours and then I was stuck in traffic for an hour or so. . .then a slow drive back to LA from Santa Barbara.

Any help or suggestions would be helpful. What is the leak exactly and could it have been me not tightening the gas cap all the way?
