Hello!

Few questions about GT3 and turbo cylinder heads, if some one should have data available...:

-valve sizes, in/ex?

-port sizes?

-flow rates?

And the some more:

-Is there an aftermarket ITB system available for the GT3 engine?

This has been discussed a few times over on Rennlist. Go to the GT2/GT3 forum there for more detail, but in essence, why would you tb the GT3 rather than just buy a GT2? The conversion expense would take you beyond the cost of a GT2.

Hi Pete,

We do have something available, but we have found it is tough to beat the Porsche Motorsports developed plenums for the GT3R/RS/RSR.

The first versions of the current GT3 engine had ITB's (this engine is essentially the water cooled version of the 962 engines)

I can get you the flow numbers for the Porsche Motorsports GT3Cup/R/RS/RSR and turbo heads, but it will be Tuesday of next week before I can place the calls.

Care to elaborate on your project? :)

What I've so far found is this, modified 996 turbo head flows

in 324CFM / ex 296CFM with 28" of water @ .500" lift and

in 306CFM / ex 280CFM with 25" of water @ .500" lift.

Valves used: in 39mm, ex 34mm.

EDIT: This thread is not relevent for me anymore, my project turned into reality somehow different than planned...
