Battery shot craps, put a new one in. Had a few errors codes, now just the one- "Failure Convertible top ctrl." I have a smartTop installed. Top is up and secure. 2008 C4S Cab. Any ideas?

I just brought mine in for the exact same error. I had to manually lower and lock the top. They have not let me know what the cause was but it should be ready for pickup tomorrow. I will post when I have an answer. I would remove the SmartTOP if you want to fix it under warranty. You will need to manually lower and raise and lock the top (directions in manual) and remove the SmartTOP.

Results for my error and the fix:

Manual Valve Open on Pump for top. Both flap motors worn. Drives cracked. Top out of calibration

Ran calibration but top wont open completely due to side flaps not accuating fast enough...Replaced both side flap motors, calibrated and cleared fault memory

Top operates properly at this time
