Hello all,

Well I have searched the 30 something pages and have come aross years past info but nothing new. I'm looking for exactly the differences between MY 03 and 04 996tt. I know for sure that PCM2 became standard on MY04. And yes I know to buy the most current I can. I'm just trying to pull all the information that I can. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Almost no differences at all.

The Turbo Cabriolet was introduced in MY04 and there were changes to the GT2 but almost no changes to MY04 Turbo (from MY03).

As far as I know...the biggest difference is that it's a year newer. There were a few add-ons to the 05 Turbo S, but the 03-04 had essentially no differences.

Thanks for the responses. It was very helpful. I did find out that from MY03 to 04 that updated ABS software was installed (among other very minor changes). I found this information out with my recent purchase of Porsche 996 The Essential Companion: Supreme Porsche (Amazon search for this and it will come up). TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT GOTTEN THIS BOOK GET IT NOW. It is 600 pages of pure goodness. It covers everything from model year changes to DIY to buying guide to upgrades (and much more). It is well worth the 65 bucks I paid for it. Just an FYI. Thanks again for the responses.

As many folks here are already aware Adrian Streather did some of his research here at RennTech.org and Rennlist.com. The knowledgeable members of these forums helped him get much of the information he needed to write the book.

Loren,

Thanks for the post. I guess I could of put one and one together! Anyway the book is a wonderful tool for those of us doing research at this stage. I'm going to look/drive an 01 996TT on Saturday!
