Hello,

I followed the instruction and was able to remove the left headlight assembly but the right side won't come out after turning the lever. I could see the headlight assembly gets lifted as I turn the lever but the top portion where the rubber seals meet the fender won't move at all as if they got stuck. Any suggestion? I tried to wiggle back and forth for 5 minutes and finally gave up.

This may sound obvious but the very first time I ever tried to remove my headlights (to replace a bulb) I had the same problem. The problem was that I was turning the release the wrong direction (essentially I was locking it in more which gave it that lifting look). Try that.

Mine did this but I just gently rocked the unit from side to side & it came out.

As Loren says I found that if i turned the key too much it also kinda released the unit then hooked it again - stopping it from sliding out - so don't turn the key so far.

Hi,

This gave me a lot of grief. I thought I had to take all the bumper out. The tool just kept spinning. The answer was simple. The original Porsche tool is not a good fit for some reason. I just used a 5mm socket with and extension (tape it so doesn't fall off). I was able to remove the headlights in seconds.
