Not familiar with C+C...my office is in Lake Forest. What is C+C?

And I know it means Cars and Coffee...but is this an event? I've heard of an event at the Spectrum. Never been.

I go almost every Saturday. It starts at about 6:30 AM and ends at 9 AM. I believe that it started with a gathering of enthusiasts in Crystal Cove but they were "asked to leave" as I understand it due to neighbor complaints. Ford Motor Company - through VP John Clinard, a long-time collector and enthusiast - graciously offered the use of their Premiew Auto Group (PAG) parking lot for the gathering. It's at the corner of Gateway and Alton in Irvine.

There are typically about 400 cars coming and going, and there are some Saturdays in which special marques are showcased (still not sure how this is scheduled but seems like word-of-mouth). Last week there were about 100 Acura NSXs and I have been there when over 50 Lamborginis showed up. Lots of variety in the mix and there are usually about 60-70 Porsches (including Carrera GTs), a few dozen Ferraris (even the occasional Enzo) and Lambos, along with cliques of Imprezza/EVOs, GTRs, Panteras, Ford GTs (naturally), Aston Martins, and any number of British cars (Triumphs, Austin Healys, MGs, Mini Coopers, Jags).

I have never went when there wasn't at least one very special car that stood out for me (1960 Ferrari TDF, Zagato-bodied Aston Martin, Porsche GT1, Jaguar D-type racer, etc.). There is a lot of money in OC and collectors often dust off something special to show off.

Definitely worth visiting and there is no charge except for food/drink. A great way to get ideas for your own ride and talk to other enthusiasts.

Great info guys. I wasn't able to go yesterday. My wife and I plan on checking it out next Saturday. With 60-70 Porsches there on a Saturday, I'll feel right at home! Look forward to seeing all the cars. Sounds like the place to be on a Saturday morning.
