Ice killed my wipers

Went to my car this morning to dig it out of the ice. I switched on the engine and let the car warm up. After my screen was clear I went to use the wipers. They barely moved. Then I realised that they were actually switched on. So when I started up the car the wipers would have tried to wipe but they were frozen to the windscreen. Does anyone know if this is repairable? The motor is working as it tries to move the wipers but something must have come off or disconnected on the mechanism. Was very surprised that a little bit of ice can break the wipers.

Did you check fuse C6? Should be 25 Amps.
yes, they still work but barely move. 1 inchat the most and they slap back to the resting position after each wipe.
