What are good options to hide a detector in a CAB? I want to be able to mount so it cannot be seen while I am driving. ;) I also want to be able to address front and rear threats. Any ideas?

From reading other posts (here and other forums) I think the Valentine is the way to go. What do you think?

Thanks :D

Personally I would recommend the V1. I have an 02 Cab and I suction cupped the main sensor high on the windshield just left of the RV mirror. It's hot-wired to the upperconsole. I mounted the remote with velcro on the steering colum and hard-wired it up the A pillar and behind the windshield surround. The main unit controls the off/on/volume, and remains dark. It's pretty well hidden, but can be removed easily as can the remote.

I've heard of people using the remote in the storage tray and also the ash-tray where it can be totally out of sight. I just like the column because you don't have to move your eyes to see the flash, etc. and it's easy to disconnect either or both if necessary.

Valentine 1 is the way to go. The directional arrows are great.

I have a coupe, and my install is very similar to Don's. I mounted the main unit just to the right of the rear view mirror, so it doesn't interfere with the drivers sun visor. I used the sun visor clip, wedged between the headliner support and roof, to mount the main unit, which is very sturdy, and you don't see any suction cup marks on the outside of the windshield. As Don said, the concealed display on the steering column is a great location, since you just have to look down slightly from your normal driving line of sight, and the mute button is easy to reach.

Thanks to both of you.

Cape Cod, did you read the installation process some where or did you figure it out yourself? I think I will just repeat your steps. BTW, could you post a pick of your setup?

Thanks
