All,

my drivers side turn signal recently stopped working. when i try to engage it i get the fast blinking indicator light on the dash. when i arm the alarm, only the passengers side light blinks outside the car.

i changed the bulb today, but that didn't fix it. i also looked for a fuse that might be causing this, but it didn't look like there are separate fuses for the drivers and passengers side turn indicators, so i ruled out fuses.

so, it's not the bulb, it's not the fuse, what else could it be? before i start tracing wiring, does anyone have any other things to look for?

thanks... josh

I had this happen and it turned out the headlight assembly was bad and had to buy an entire new one. I hope that isn't it, because they aren't cheap. I found one used on ebay for about $400.

Your symptoms are exactly what mine were. Have your mechanic check the power and connector for the headlight. If they are OK, you likely have a failed assembly and need a new headlight. At least that's what I was told by two separate people who checked mine, one being the dealer. And this is not covered by CPO if you have that.

I've had this happen. Make sure that the headlight is properly secured when you install it. You should feel quite a bit of pressure and hear a loud "clunk" when turning the wrench. This has happened to me more than once.
