Hello,

I bought a used 2005 Cayenne and have my younger brother brought to Porsche dealer for oil change and checkup thinking it's still under warranty for the following problems:

- Left corner light indicator

- Problem start running early in the cold morning but fine after 1 minutes driving

- Sometime switch to manual while I was driving on auto even I didn't touch the tiptronic button

Anyway, those bastard leeches from Porsche only did the oil change ($500), change 3 light bulbs, and flush the brake fluid (which they tricked my brother to let them do it because it's recommended by manufact. or it will damage the brake. They charged $500 for it). These s.o.b then asked my brother to bring the car back another day because they want to keep it over night so they could run the test for my other complains and they dropped a bomb on us that the car warranty is expired as of 9/2008. It would cause me aleast thousand to fix. The bill for oil change and brake fluid flush and couple bulbs was $1015.83. I called them the next day and gave them earful for overcharged for unnessesary works on my car. I don't mind to pay for oil change but not other stuffss.. I vowed that I would never come back again. To make matter worse now my "turning signal" indicator came on now. My front right turn light bulb went out. I want to replace this myself but not sure how. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THANKS.......

Possibly just loose/bad connection. The owners manual will show you how to very easily remove the entire headlight assembly. The tool to remove it is in the trunk by the subwoofer. Once the assembly is out, it's pretty straightforward. Again, refer to the manual. Simple 10 min task.

I had the same problem. Mostly in the morning at start up for the first few minutes, then it would work the rest of the day. I tried new bulbs, cleaning the contacts, and tightening the light. The only thing that worked was putting bulb grease on the base of the bulb before you install it. Bulb grease is like petroleum jelly (vasaline) available at any auto parts store for $1.00.
