Hello and before the search police chime in please read..

I recently went ahead and switched out the memory power seats for Euro non-power seats and made sure I followed instructions clearly - so no key in the ignition etc.

The following day I went to start the car and nothing hope this helps narrow down things:

Dash lights came on

Windows not working

Tried both keys and the same thing

Since the battery was reading under 12 volts changed it for a new one

Switched the fuse for windows (I believe its 3C)

Still nothing...any help would be appreciated, prior to the seat switch the car was working flawlessly....

Thanks in advance

Mick

Please tell us the model, model year and whether this is a US or RoW car.

It's a 2000, C2 US

I've also tried jump starting the car and absolutely zero, lights come on strong..

I also have the center console removed and temp connected the buttons to the black and white window connector but there not working.

Check the clutch switch or bypass it.

Also, you did not unplug anything from the box under the drivers seat did you?

That is the alarm/drive block control unit.

I may have - how would I tell.

I was told your the man to figure these things out!

I followed the general rules of switching seats but I know I have the alarm and memory seats - would this also affect the windows - this is frustrating.

Thanks Loren!

Check the clutch switch or bypass it.

Windows should not be affected by the seats.

Check all of your connections on the new seats (bent pins, cut wires, loose connectors, etc.).

Worse case put the old seats back in and see what happens.

Is the clutch switch related to windows how do you bypass it?

This is why i'm baffled windows not going up or down and the p not starting at all

None of these make sense - except that the battery was disconnected.

Are you sure about the windows? If you replace the battery the windows will need to be re-trained. Hold the switch in the down position an additional 10 seconds after the window is all the way down and then do the same up.

The clutch switch is on the clutch pedal - just remove the wire and connect them together to bypass the switch.

Loren what does the alarm module look like, I also had memory seats and I know there's a slim black box under the drivers side seat that was removed.

The box should be labeled M535 (for US cars).

The alarm control unit has a power window control input; it is pin A18 for my car.

It's obvious that box needs to be properly reinstalled.

Yes, on LHD cars it is under the left hand seat.
