while pulling the terminal in the fuse box to open the front hood to charge my battery, i have disconnected a wire and i don't know where it goes. next to the red terminal in the upper right hand on the box is a red wire with a long metal piece at the end. can anyone tell me where and how this is connected? here is a pic that i hope will help.

Looks like it was a DRL mod (not standard).

i'm sorry loren, but what does that mean? are you saying it is an aftermarket thing?

As Loren mentioned, non of the 3 wires visible in the pic, are standard.

rfm and loren,

thank you for your reply. i am a mechanical idiot and was afraid to start the car without knowing what that wire was. you gave me the confidence to pop the hood with a donor battery and then start the car. i now believe that that wire is for the bluetooth system i had put in a long time ago. i will take it back to where it was installed and they can put it back. in the meantime, thank you so much for your help. i really appreciate it.
