Hi gang!

I have a 2003 996 C4. I have just finished installing a complete aftermarket sound/navigation system and I could not be happier with the results of that project! Unfortunately, I have not been able to enjoy it because my car won't start :( . Here are some important data points:

- Brand New Battery installed today

- Old battery had been disconnected for 4 to 5 days prior to new battery installation

- Key fits in ignition just fine. Turns OK.

- No prior electrical problems.

- Dash, radio, headlights, etc. work fine

- When turning the key and depressing the clutch I get nothing. Engine will not even turn.

- I get two system warnings: Anti-Roll Warning and Airbag warning which I had never gotten before.

- Tried to raise the roof and can't using the the switch.

- Checked clutch micro switch and its OK (saw this on a search on this site)

- Alarm seems to work fine

It is really frustrating. Any thoughts? Would love to hit the road this weekend!

Thanks!

I would dis-connect the battery and re-connect it. If

that does not

work then do the same but pop the stero fuse. Keep removing fuses

until the car starts. Sounds like you may have a short.
