I've spilt coffee on the climate control panel and the display has gone funny (still all works tho). I would like to take the unit out and give it a good clean / dry.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the unit and whether or not this will cause problems with the onboard computer?

Thanks.

Justin:

In case your panel stays "funny", here are a couple of links to posts that might prove helpful:

You need to remove the small triangle pieces of carpet either side on the central panel, each one is held in place by a torx screw hidden in the carpet.

Once these are removed you need to remove the central panel side pieces held in place by a couple of torx screws found behind the carpet pieces.

You should then be able to remove the climate control unit by undoing the relevant fixings.
