Just reading at Futureshop and I see that Pioneers new AVIC-F900BT comes with a fibre-optic out. Now I am not a car electronics guy, but will this marry up to the Bose Headunit (It is fibre right?)Just wondering, I hate the PCM 2.0, it is so old and antiquated that I would like to get something that is actually up to date (w/o spending 5K)

O yeah, I have a pepperS '04

Cheers

The new CDs for the PCM 2.0 navigation system provide a nice update, and make the system feel much more up to date. They are $299 at your dealer.

Did you ever go with a Nav system for your Cayenne? I am i the same boat and wanting to put in something nicer on my 06. Let me know what you ended up doing and if you are happy with your decision. Thank you.

Hey Bro,

I never did update my Nav, I found it would be a huge pain to put an aftermarket unit in due to the bose amp. I can't say that I use nav that much anyways, but it is nice to have something that is updated when you actually need it.
