I'm new here. Just took delivery of a seal gray metallic 2003 996 Coupe w/ x51 and m030, PSM, xenons, sport exhaust... 17,900 miles... seems perfect and is a world more fun to drive than my last 911 ('90 C2 Cab).

I've searched the threads but have not found any reference to option code 697. Any ideas?

Also wondering what option code 434 is.

Option 660 is OBD2. What is that?

Option 664 is ORVR. What is that?

As a practical matter, what does the sport exhaust do (other than sound really cool)?

Thanks!

WHILE I'M HERE...

Here's the VIN: WP0AA299X3S620071

I'd love to know more about my car. For example, I know x51 adds power. What does this option involve?

Thanks again!

OBD2 = On board diagnostics version 2 (required on US cars and used universally by most car makers worldwide)

ORVR = Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery (required on US cars)

M434 is usually special work instructions

You can run your VIN through Scouser's VIN Decoder (under the Documents menu at the top of any page).

Contributing Members here can get more VIN information on their cars factory options.
