I just got the JIC coilovers installed on my '01 996 C4 Cab and am bumping into some problems, no pun intended. I have it as low as the adjustments will let me go without adjusting both the springs and the helpers, which is really 1 finger gap in the front and a tiny bit higher in the rear. It was initially set to the middle dampening. It was way too rough for the roads around here, 10 freeway in Los Angeles. I ended up turning it to full soft all around. It rides fine on some roads but I have a problem with driving on that horrible freeway. The front bounces like crazy and I see my head lights going crazy. I would hate to be the driver in front of me. I know my alignment is way off because everytime I hit a bump, the steering wheel would jerk left or right. I am waiting for another week for my springs to settle before I get an alignment. Will the alignment help this problem? Should I not set soft all around? I am looking for comfort. Thanks in advance...
