It it under the middle of the car behind the middle plastic cover. The round silver thing in the pic. I have changed filters on fuel injected cars and the Boxster is huge in comparison. Porsche says it is good for 60k miles. My friend owns a gas station. The fuel out of a nozzle goes through 2 filters before it goes in your tank. I doubt it is your filter - but replacing it the way to rule it out as the cause of the problem.

You are correct on the codes. Fuel delivery. Oxygen sensors. Or spark.

How many miles on the car. How many miles on the current spark plugs. And what plugs are in the car.

codes are as follows p0300,p0301,p0302,p0304 p0305. 29900. miles. plugs are bosch platinum plus 4417 replaced 300 miles ago at onset of problem. new issues have arisen, after 5500 rpm engine code comes on car runs terrible until cools off.but dose not over heat. just changed oil also mobil 1 0w40 euro car formula. i can improve way car drives/runs by disconnecting batt. for 20 seconds .then start car up and runs much better no engine lights, codes until i put tiptronic in man mode and take car to 5000/5500 rpm then cycle repeats itself. ??? is this an engine failure starting, after car is warmed up oil light will sometimes flash briefly on/off but car is not low on oil.i thought poss fuel filter issue until read your post above. 900rpm and above no oil light? thank you in advance for any help.

P03xx codes are all Ignition System faults. The manual states that P03xx codes most common causes are:

Fouled, faulty or incorrect spark plugs.

Contact resistance or loose connections at the spark plugs.

My advice would be to install the correct spark plugs from Porsche and see if the problem corrects.
