I have just had a nightmare with damp / leaks, alarm going off randomly, dead battery, etc....

However, with the leaks sorted, carpets/seats out and all dried, the alarm seems to have fixed itself (no chirps or going off in the night!). I am however left with a nervousness that it may go off again at any moment!

My question though, is: when I press the key fob once to lock as normal, how many indicator flashes should there be? I thought I'd read somewhere that a certain number of indicator flashes meant there was an alarm fault.

I currently get two flashes when locking.

Also what is the norm when unlocking?

Thanks in advance.

YAY!!!! Then it sounds like I may have got away with it. :jump:

I've no idea how though, as when it was wet it was like a frickin' pond behind the [assenger seat.

Ah well, looks like all is well again (though the nerves that it may all appear again are still with me) :(

Many thanks for the reply.

I'm glad you're fixed, but now you need to find that water leak... or I'm afraid your issues will come back after heavy rains/washing/etc.

Start w/ all the drains for the car - especially the ones in the conv top storage and as well the liner.

Good luck :)
