Good Morning,

It is pretty cold out here today and I just went into the car to get it ready for a drive today. I started her up and was going to get out when I dropped my phone in the seat. I jumped out and used the switch to move the seat forward to reach in and grab my phone from under the seat. Well I got my phone out, but when I went to move the seat back - nothing - no power noises, none of the switches are doing any adjustment.

What did I do now?

Please and thanks.....

Good chance you blow up the fuse accidental, inspection of the wiring, motor and switch can help you out.

I was figuring on it being a fuse - I was also hoping for a fuse chart on the back of the panel - but I don't see anything.

Might someone have a jpeg of the chart available? (I just downloaded the manual and I don't see a chart there either)

Please and thanks!

Update: I found a fuse diagram and checked them, and switched them to double check - it is not the fuse (they checked out okay)

Am I in bigger trouble than I thought here?

There were no strange sounds when I operated the seat this morning, I just went to move it back to it's original position and I get no power.

Any advice would be great - Please and thanks.

Sometimes one of the two separate electric wires will drop of or have bad contact on the connectors on the motor.

Good Morning,

Looks like my seat heard of this and decided to do the same... When I press the seat forward button I hear a couple of clicks (like a solenoid) and that's it. Does anyone have any more guidance on how to check the wires. Since the seat is so far forward I can't see much... and its hard to reach the motor. I'm presuming its on the door side of the seat (Drivers Side)

thanks

Sean
