New owner of 2006 Carrera with PCM. I am wondering if there is a way to force the radio display in Audio mode to display frequency rather than the "L-#" indicator.

From the manual:

"If the stored station is an RBDS station, the abbreviated station name appears in the memory presets in the FM main menu. With stations without RDS, the station frequency is displayed instead of the name. Stations which transmit other information instead of the station name ... are abbreviated to L-1, L-2, L-3, etc."

Live in SF Bay area - over half my stations are L-#. I don't see the reason for this designation and am wondering if it can be forced to just display the frequency instead.

Thanks for the help.

Would love to know the answer to the above question as well. Sounds like this is not possible?

Also, I might be an idiot but I CAN NOT figure out how to scroll through the FM presets with the steering wheel. I can do scan, I can even manually tune frequencies from the steering wheel but I can not figure out how to get the setting right to scroll through presets without touching the numbers on the PCM itself. How do you do this? Please don't tell me you can't bc that would be a monster oversight I think. Why would manually tuning from your steeering wheel which you never do be preferred over scrolling through presets which you do all day long.
