Bank 2 Sensor 2?

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I just joined the club and got a 996tt. After a month, i caught the speed bug to go faster and added a FVD flash and straight pipe exhaust. After the flash, i started having misfire problems. After scanning, i'm getting a reading of random misfire in 1,2 and 3. Also my o2 is not reading a min. voltage in Bank 2 Sensor 2.

Could the O2 be the reason for misfire?

I plan on replacing it but which side is Bank 2?

· 2001 996tt (58k miles)

· 6 speed

· US Model car

Thanks alot!

Tim

cylinders 1-3 drivers side (bank 1), 4-6 are passenger side (bank 2). What are the actual codes? Without the actual codes it could be a number of things. Since you have straight pipes it is possible the O2 sensors were incorrectly installed, you blew your MAF, misfires could be plugs/coil pack...well you get the idea....
