If I want to have a functional PSE on/off switch, how difficult is this to install myself? Are there DIY instructions?

Thanks

The PSE installation TSB is in the TSB section of the forum. I believe it's around 8 hours work for an experienced tech.

I've had PSE on my last 2 Carreras without the switch, and have never wished I had it.

8 hours to install a on/off switch? That seems a bit high. I would think that there is a relay controlling a electo/mechanical exhaust valve, via a momentary dash switch? There must be more to it?

Thanks

The valves on the PSE mufflers are vacuum controlled, so you need to install the vacuum stuff in the engine compartment, run a wiring harness to the relay panel (and take apart a bunch of the interior in the process), and rune a wire to the dash switch.

It's a huge job. I quit the project when I came to the "drop the engine" step. Not worth it IMO :(
