Where is the amplifer?!

Recommended Posts

Since I didn't have the BOSE option, I was hoping to pull the head unit out and having speakers connected directly to it. This doesn't look to be the case.

I am working under the assumption that there must be some kind of amplifier connected via MOST which provides audio the speakers. After tearing apart the dash, I'm not seeing one nor am I able to easily follow the fiber optic cable.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

But you didn't post your MY, Model, US or RoW....?

It is all in my signature, so that I don't have to remember in my posts.

Thanks for the idea. I immediately remembered seeing it there.

Now I just have to figure out how to run the wires.

so what did you do? I am in the same boat. 6 wires to the amp. wtf

Right behind the battery there is a hole with a rubber grommet in it. So I cut a hole in the grommet and ran them through there.
