I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to have winter tires installed on my 2008 C2S Cab. I can get Nokian WR's delivered to me from Tires by Web,but don't have an installer yet.

My Porsche dealership won't install tires ordered from elsewhere and wants to sell me a set of Pirelli 240's for a ridiculous price.

I live in Riverdale,N.Y 10471.

Thanks in advance for all help.

I would recommend buying tires and wheels for the winter, then its a simple matter to swap them over.

Remember......You are only using (wearing) one set of tires at a time so you do get your money's worth!

Try www.tirerack.com for great service......I have used them for 20 years. Top shelf.

I don't drive my Boxter S in the winter but I have been using winter tires on my daily driver

since 1990. Started with Pirelli winter S2's, then several types of Blizzaks and now Dunlop Graspics.

Just swapped them on again last week (Ohio). After 3 seasons they still look like new (8/32 in the

center of the tread and 10/32 on the edges.....no cupping whatsoever. Smoooooooth......

Anyone who hasn't tried these is in for a revelation. If the snow is less than 8" deep, I would rather

take my front drive Grand Prix with the winter tires than my Duramax Diesel 4x4!

When I get on I-75 and it is a black mirror............there is nothing better.
