Hi to all

Has anybody got instructions for the removal of the front wheel carrier on a MY99 C2 911 cab? Is it possible to remove the carrier without removing the strut?

Thanks in advance

Christopher

I want to remove the wheel carrier and send it to a machine shop. I snapped the head of one of the bolts that holds the caliper and also the one that holds the bracket for the brake line. I have somebody in a machime shop that will fix them if I can remove the wheel carrier and send it to him. I cant understand why this happend I just replaced the rotors in april with no problem I did track the car along with autocross over the summer. I just hope I dont have the same problem on the drivers side. I will have the bearing done while i have the carrier off.

Thanks

Christopher

That's a lot of trouble to go to for a snapped bolt. Have they tried an easy-out?

You will need to re-torque everything and get an alignment if you take the wheel carrier off.

I have tried easy outs , heat ,brute force and a lot of foul language and still no luck. so i think my only option is removal
