You can buy them from your dealer - they have always been an option.

I think about US MSRP is $83 each (you just buy the mirror glass and install it).

I got mine from a trusted online source - Sunset Imports a board sponsor. If they don't have them they can order or try Suncoast in Florida.

I've been using them for almost 9 years. There's no 'visual' issue with the mirrors when I drive our Cayenne which has standard mirrors.

FYI - they may have changed the way the mirrors fit but on my 99, I cracked the standard driver's side mirror when removing it. Slow and steady is the way to go.

I've had 2 different types

of Aspheric mirrors on my Boxsters. One set was simply curved, one set had a definite line and an angled out portion.

They prevent that blind spot from killing you. With the top down, the air noise is so loud that you don't hear/sense that car creeping up on your drivers rear quarter panel. With standard mirrors, you glance over, see nothing there, make your move and crash. With aspherical mirrors, you see that thing in your blind spot because of the angle of the mirror. Absolutely the first thing I had to have on my second Boxster after having them on my first.

Bought a set off a classified on one of the forums, then had a friend buy me some in Germany. But I'll bet a good parts dealer can get em for you.

You already have the part numbers and the how to install em in the link above.

I cracked one of the original mirrors removing it too. But not the mounting which allowed the aspheric to mount trivially.
