Hi,

For some reason everytime i turn the ignition on the clock flashes like it needs to be set. If i try to set the time by turning the knob, its impossible to set because it keeps moving from the hour to the minute so you can never get the time right.

If by a small miracle the time is set right, it is completely wrong when you switch the ignition of and on again!!!!

Does anyone know what the problem is because it driving me mad!!!

Thanks

Scott

It sounds like the clock knob stem is jammed or stuck. Pull on the knob until it comes off in your hand and if it stops, that's the problem. Good luck and hope I helped.

I tried taking the knob off and putting it back on but its still the same!!!

When you twist it to turn the time back, it keeps moving between the hours and minutes!!! Its so annoying!!!!

Somebody help please!!!!!

The clock may simply be busted. I asked a 911 gauge shop here in the US if 996 and 986 clusters can be fixed and he said no. It might be worth calling around anyway though since the clock may be replaceble, although my first impression is that it's not. Try your local dealer too, there may be some secret to it.
