I need help getting the keys out of the hood of my boxster, its a 2001 can anyone help me with this?

I have heard that there is a place on the front driver side by head light that has a cable you can pull to open the hood, but I haven't been successful in locating the cable.

A the reason Boxsters came with 3 keys.....

Look at this...while the electrical approaches don't apply because you can't get into the cabin of the car (I presume), the hints about opening the hood may help you

Thanks for the info. I only have the one key unfortunately and therefore I can't get into the car to use battery back ups or the like. My only alternative is to try to access the cable on right side of car front head light but im having trouble locating it.
