posted at the parts request forum, but a stone hit my center radiator this saturday, fluid shooting out the front bumper, flatbed to dealer,

today i got the estimate to change the radiator, price for radiator and labor is reasonable, according to MSRP of radiator given by Loren yesterday, but they want to charge me 400 dls for 15 quarts of antifreeze, i told them that less than a quart of fluid spilled, because we stopped the leak with some nose pliers, some more came out but it was not much.

about how much fluid wolud go out of the system just by replacing the center radiator? I dont have anyway to check how much antifreeze they used to refill the car, opinions on what to do, should i just accept it?

also, car has 3000 miles and just is 1 year old, they want to change the oil, as they say it should be changed once a year at least, manual says 2 years or 12500 miles, 400 dls to change the oil, all in all 1200 dlls.

thanks in advance.

Center radiator is not much more than 1 US quart.

Also, remember that they should be mixing 50-50 water with the coolant - so 1 quart coolant = 2 quarts of coolant mix.

checked the manuals section and for a MY 07 Carrera the coolant capacity is 32 liter, aprox 15 quarts antifreeze 15 quarts water, GT3 must be more or less the same.

thks again
