driver's door/window issue

Has anyone seen the following problem with the driver's door/window?

Normally, when you open the door, the window goes down a little bit and once you close the door the window goes back up to fit within the rubber frame. However, mine does not go down then when I close it the window instead of going into the rubber frame it goes on top of it and it rattles when I drive (so it's not closed properly). And the rocker-switch redlight stays on. So now whenever, I open the driver's door I put down the window a little bit and then once I close it I put the window back up.

Is this a sensor problem? If yes, where is the sensor and is it hard to replace?

Probably the switch in the door handle.

Do a search - this has been covered many times before (same mechanism for all 9x6 series cars).
