Hi, I am looking to install the PSE switch on my 99 996. I already have the PSE mufflers and I was looking on www.carnewal.com and noticed they had a wiring kit that comes with a few misc parts such as the relay / vacuum reservoir etc. What else is missing from that kit? Is that kit from carnewal the same as the Porsche Part number 996 612 978 00?

I answered this in your PM to me.

The only thing that I am aware of is that the switch does not come in any kit (neither Porsche or Carnewal). You must buy the switch separately.

The only switches available are the matte finish - there never was a gloss finish switch.

996.613.987.10.A05 Switch, sports exhaust system; installation location> right of radio

996.613.988.10.A05 Switch, sports exhaust system; installation location> left of radio

The Carnewal package IS the Porsche package.
