Child Seat bar and buckle under seat - is it standard on a 1999 boxster - or an option

I want to remove it - a bit rattly - but think the car needs programming to say its removed

Hello! I also have a child seat bar and buckle in my 1998 Boxster that I want to remove. Did it re-activate the air bag automatically? Thanks for your help. Regards, Bill

I'm looking to buy a used deactivation bar to put in my 03 Boxster. If one of you is willing to sell it, pls PM me.

I removed mine and the airbag light came on

Porsche need to de-activate the buckle

I just measured the resistance accross the buckle and soldered a resistor accross the connector
