Hey All

I recently put in the Softronic ECM upgrade and I do notice a big difference in power but I also have a side affect.

It is a 2002 911 Turbo all stock except for new divertor valves haha. It had no issues at all before. The car has crazy power but when it hits like 1.1 BAR in 2nd gear tiptronic it like lags and cuts power at 4000 rpm and then 2 or 3 seconds later continues on. So odd, I don't know what to check. The service engine light also flashes when this happens.

Please help... I am using 94 octane gas.

Get the codes read! Report them back here. When was the last time you changed plugs? What plugs are you using? My guess is plugs or coil packs, but getting the codes will help with diagnosis.

ok I will get my brothers code reader today and post codes....

I noticed this morning it will do the pause thing in every gear well 1,2,3 at 3800 - 4000 RPM when it is full throttle only. 3/4 throttle is normal...

Ok so I get error PO300 Random Misfire Detected at 4250 RMP

So does that mean plugs??

Usually when you get P0300 you get another code as P0300 is a sum total of misfires.

Possible fault cause

♦ Fault in ignition system

♦ Fault in injection system

♦ Flat-base tappets (valve lift fault)

♦ Mixture too rich

♦ Mixture too lean

♦ Mechanical causes

YES it could be plugs or coil packs and Check for leaks in the vacuum system! Did you figure out when the plugs were last replaced and what they are?

hi the other codes were

P0301 P0303 P0305 P0304

all cylinder misfire.

I wouldn't doubt if the spark plugs are all orginal. before I did the computer performance upgrade the car had no issues at all.....

Tuning the ECU will go through plugs quicker....if you are using the Beru 5 plugs they will die quickly...go with the Bosch FR6s. I would replace the plugs and check the coil packs while you are at it.
