How to get to the Infant/Toddler Tether Strap Anchor on a MY99?

Anyone know how to access the child seat anchor on the rear shelf on a '99?

I called my local dealership and they said that it should be back there and there should be a "cut out", but when I tried to look for it, there is no cut-out on my carpet....

Any idea??

i have a 99 and have used 2 seats without tether for the past 3 years. i dont believe there is any sort of attachmentv available. what does your oners manuel say?

1) That say "canadian model"

2) I do not have the cut-outs

3) But, the porsche dealership said it is "back there" while I should take the panel off to check..... my issue is.... how do i take the panel out? Is there anyone else here who have done that before??

i never had to take out the back panel. the cutouts are there about 1/3 the way down the rear glass straight down. sometimes it's hard to see. you have to cut them out with a carpet knife or box cutter.
