for me"]Throttle Jacking, Spring TestNot such agood day was today! I have a 2000 Boxter S w/ Tiptronic and after repairing some simple intake leaks which set off some of those good old "Secondary Air" flags. Upon reassembly and start up, I have no throttle response. My PST-2 reads P1502 which has to do with my e-gas throttle body. I went through my 7.2 diagnosis Manual with not much information (funny huh?). When I re-set the faults the car runs great, I have good continuity to the DME, but after shutting down and restarting, I get the same code and no throttle. I have already cleared all codes through out and even got my I-pass codes and updated the programming in the DME (I have the latest version in my PST-2) With hopes that I may have picked up some programming error, but no, I still am stuck with no throttle response and code 1502. Any hope out there for a solution? I am a brand new member and have never belonged to any Forum what so ever. This is the first and sure not to be the last! I will not stop until this Boxter is corrected, I will share my findings after this is all over. I do not even know if I am doing this correctly, if there are any guidelines to posting, please let me know.

Did you try the throttle adaption procedure the manual suggests?

1. Switch on the ignition.

2. Wait one minute. Do not press the accelerator.

3. Switch off the ignition for at least 10 seconds.

4. Read out the fault memory

Have you done the disconnecting of the battery and then leave the ignition on for one minute before starting trick? Is there a throttle plate adaption for your model? I know on VW one had to use a 1551 scanner to reset the TB.
