Need to finally replace my scorpion zeros at 32000 miles on my 05 Cayenne S. From what I've read on this forum seems like I got almost double the mileage I should have. All tires wore perfectly even without any alignment problems. I did rotate them twice. Also my original brake pads are only half worn. I drive mostly spirited and occasionaly agressive. I also use my tiptronic to downshift almost always because I heard Cayennes going through brakes fast. Did I do good? Anyone else have a similar story? And does anyone recommend a better tire choice for 18" rims ? I will probably stick with the Scorpions again.

That is outstanding milage for tires on a Cayenne. If you were happy with the Scorpions then use them again. Maybe try TireRack for some customers reviews on different tires.

Brakes are cheaper than transmissions & engines, so it seems kinda silly to downshift as you have been doing in the Tip. Especially since you can't rev-match.
