Hi all:

I want to replace my Becker CR220 stereo with a new one I just purchased and was hoping to get help on 3 things:

1 Instructions from the group on how to do this (remove and replace)

2 Also it seems as though a special tool is required to remove the stereo. If so how do I get it?

3 While I am at it is there a simple way to hook my iPod

Many thanks!!!

Hello,

Are these keys, the ones which came with my 996, correct? I can slot them into the CDR-22 but they don't let me pull the thing out. These keys in my hand are on eBay UK as "Becker Radio Removal Keys".

Maybe the previous owner of my car bought the wrong ones? Or am I just really useless? :(

All the ones I've seen are shapped a little different, there is no hook, they have a curve and an indent that locks them in. If you can insert those keys and you feel/hear them "snick" into place, you should NOT be able to pull them out AT ALL, unless the radio is removed. Otherwise, they are the wrong ones. If they are locke din place, it sometimes takes a bit of effort to pull out the radio.

Many thanks both. The keys look significantly different, so I've bought the correct set from eBay UK and will bin these ones that came with the car.
