hi people. Am trying to remove the passenger side air vent without breaking it. Anyone got a a easy way of removing it? Also am wanting to buy a hardtop for my 2003 model boxster but been told that you cant fit a earlier hardtop to a facelift model. Is this the case?? thanks folks :D

As far as the hardtop goes, they all work up to MY04. The early ones have "ears" on the lower rear.

Are you talking about the vent in the dash?

thats good news about the hardtop as there quite hard to get a hold off. Regarding the vent i was talking about the side air vent just in front of the passenger side rear wheel. reading back my post it was not that great eh haha.cheers

Take a look first if the hardtop quick fasteners inserts in the B pillars are already installed. ROW cars delivered without the hardtop option don't have that. Open the top completely and look straight in to the top of the B pillar, if you find a black circular plastic cover ( approx. 2 cm. diameter ), the inserts are not installed. Don't forget to order them. To remove the side vents, do a search, it is on the board already, under desnorkeling of something.
