Hello, I have a 1999 C2 with memory seats. Currently, the passenger side mirror swivels down when reversing. The manual only describes the procedure of enabling this function.

Any idea on how to disable this ??

The dealer can disable permanently this function with the PIWIS tester menu "Seat memory" sub menu "Coding". Since you have a ROW version, push the mirror switch to the left possition to disable, in some ROW country's it will work in others not, try it out first.

If you reset the memory settings with the gear shift lever in Neutral, instead of in Reverse,

shouldn't that take the mirror tilt out of the memory setting?

· The door mirror (left/right) can be adjusted with the PST 2 or PIWIS!

1. Connect the PST2 with the ignition off, then switch the ignition on.

2. Switch on the PST2 and wait for the start−up screen.

3. Press the >> key to go to the next level.

4. Select the vehicle type 911Turbo (996) in the left−hand window using the v key.

5. Press the −−> key to activate the right−hand window.

6. With the v / ^ key, select the Seat memory control module and press the >> key to go to the next level.

7. Select the menu item Parking aid on door mirror using the ^ / ^ key.

8. Press the >> key to go to the next level.

9. Select the desired door mirror right or left using the v / ^ key.

10. Press key F8 (coding)
