Hey,

Does anyone know how I go about getting a Porsche shop warranty time book, or even just a photocopy of a page, for an '86 944?

Thanks!

the warranty flat rates were on micro fiche back then, no books.

real fun to to use!

what do you need an estimate on?

I need a print-out or something showing that the Porsche labor warranty time to replace the 3 bearings in the upper balance shaft on a '86 944 NA is 8.1 hours.

:D

Hey, that looks what what I sort of need... :D

However, I don't really understand what it says.... is the 810 = 8.10 hours labor?

I need something official looking...

I contacted Porsche directly, and they are of no help.....

the 13 85 19 04 is the Porsche labor operation for replacing the upper balance shft belt

the 810 is 8.1 hours

never mind the 2

that is as official as I can get for you, it is a print out from POSES

Does anyone have access to the Mitchell guide that states that the same operation should take 8.6 or 8.9 hours (vs. the Porsche warranty time of 8.1 hours - I guess the extra .5 or .8 hours is for rust, etc....)?

Please let me know.

Thanks!!
