Just bought an 03 S, and wasted many work hours reading the info here. Mine is I guess what you'd call a base S, no cruise control, no OBC, single cd player/radio, no changer. I've printed out many threads on the OBC and cruise install, and plan to tackle that in a week or so, but:

Are these cars pre wired for a cd changer? I can see in the front trunk whaere the changer mounts, and have seen new and used changers on eBay, but none of them seem to have any changer harness with them. From the parts pages, I need a CDC4 changer, just need to know how the wire it.

I looked under the cover next to the battery, is it hid behind carpeting somewhere?

Thanks Folks, Chuck

Have you considered one of these instead of a multi-changer.

Ice link

Lots of people use them to connect an IPod's but you can also just use a USB memory stick, I have an 8GB stick plugged into mine with over 40 albums on there.
