first of all, sorry for posting a doubt in the DIY area rather than a "solution" but you will certainly be able to answer and once solver I do think this is the right place to post it (if not, I kindly request modetarators to change it).

I want to put a power switch in the horseshow below the PSM (in the left). I actually got the 996-613-987-10-A05 MAT COUPE/TARGA SPORT EXHAUST but could not turn it into a "real switch" as I found no scheme for the 5 connectors that it has. Couple of questions there:

1. to which connectors should I connect the sti-r pos cable to alternatively swith it on and off???

2. Providing that it has a led, is there any way to light the led when off?

Thanks in advance

I'm considering as well the 996-613-980-06-A05 *** MAT 2002- FOOTWELL LIGHTING

that according to the (small) description that I've found seems to be "closer to a pure switch", right? Any schematic draft will be more than appreciatted.

best.

sorry for answering so late, it's the european continental holiday seasson here... :D

that's the new beltronics radar detector, that's why I need to easily cut-off radar power directly from my dashboard, not any hidden switch down there... B)

What is a "sti-r"?

Here Porsche's diagram - I doubt it will help.
