I'm in the UK and I have a Carbon fibre rear spoiler that was imported from the states, has anybody else got one?

Mine is starting to break up and I was wondering if this has happened to anybody else, I can have it repaired but will need painting afterward, I don't want to bother if its just going to break up again.

Hey I don't have one of these but was thinking about getting one...other than the peeling do you have any other complaints about yours? Is there any fit/allignment issues such as the spoiler not sitting fully in when down so that dirt and debrie get in there?

thanks

Its not peeling its actually cracked on both sides from the fixing points up along the leading edge of the spoiler, its as if the down force is to much for it and its breaking up. The fit is fine but not as neat as on the Cayman.

I've got the fiberglass version from the same company. The first one that I had did exactly the same thing within two weeks of owning it. I returned it to the manufacturer and they sent me another, no hassles. He did tell me to be very careful when tightening the mounting screws. I've had my current spoiler for well over a year (20,000+miles, 12 autocrosses, no track time) and it seems fine.

I've got a brand new original authentic STROSEK AV52 wing/spoiler available ... As I understand, the STROSEK wing was the original version of this spoiler, that the other manufacturers later copied and made replicas of. PM me if you're interested.
