Has anyone experienced a passenger window that when it drops the 1/2 inch gets hung up on the small backseet window? When I try to exit from the passenger door the window gets caught against the back glass. This does not happen when I open the car from the outside. It appears that the window regular is working fine as the window makes the half inch drop but just gets hung up. Additionally, I noticed that the gap between passenger window is much smaller with regard to how close the window is to the back glass than compared to the driver window. Thanks

Looks like the door window is out of adjustment front<>rear and up<>down, i have no idea why you can open the door on the out side and not at the inside without hitting the rear side window, it is the same handling after all.

I'm just starting to get that same little hang-up with the driver's window....you have to hit the door latch several times then lightly push on the door once or twice to make the widow clear that back part of the rubber buffer. I could force it open, but it seems to just slightly hang up until I move the door back and forth just a bit.

You mentioned too much slack? In what....is there a fix for this or is it a regulator.

Chuck:

If there is slack, it is in the window regulator.

Normally, the slack in the cable of the window regulator cannot be tightened up and a new regulator must be installed. I do recall someone on this forum doing a fix on the slackened cable, but I can't find the post.

Regards, Maurice.
