996 Cab Roof problems

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a 2003 996 Carrera2 Cab Tip with a poorly roof. I'm pretty sure it's the hydraluics as the fluid is low and it makes a whinny and sucking noise when going opening and closing. I am keen to find out the part number for a hydraulic cylinder (arm) and to know if this is an easy job to repair. Porsche quoted me $$$$$!

You help is most welcome.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for the response, I did find that conversation. They too were asking for the part number and any advise on replacing the hydraulic arm with - no response.

Thanks again.

How do you know that is the problem?
